"Funny and actually weird in the best way"
I actually had a really good time with this. The jokes landed for me, and the characters were written in a way that felt fun and kind of odd, but in a good way. A few pages were a little messy to follow, but overall it still made me smile a lot.

"Kept freezing on me"
I tried using undertale.com a few different times, so I don’t think it was just a one-off thing. The pages were loading really slowly, sometimes they’d just sit there and not do anything, and one time it even crashed my browser tab. I kept refreshing because I actually wanted to give it a fair shot, but it got annoying fast. Maybe it runs fine for other people, but on my end it felt unstable enough that I didn’t really feel like it was worth the hassle.

"I thought this was going to be..."
I thought this was going to be fun. Just something to play and relax with. But no. By the end I felt stressed, kind of sad, and just... off. The emotional parts hit harder than I expected, but not in a way I enjoyed. Maybe it works for some people, but for me it just left a bad feeling afterward.

"Combat that just feels different in the best way"
The battle system is what hooked me. Dodging attacks feels like this tiny bullet hell, and then being able to trust your instinct and choose whether to talk, spare, or fight makes it way more interesting than I expected. The controls are easy, everything runs smoothly, and I found myself replaying parts just to see how enemies would react differently. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Good music, but not totally my thing"
I did enjoy the soundtrack overall, and a couple of the songs really stuck in my head after I listen to them. Some tracks was a bit too weird or repetitive for me, though. It’s still decent, just didn’t feel amazing to me.

"Great first run, harder to go back to"
undertale was really fun the first time. Like, the weird jokes, the little surprises, the whole offbeat vibe... I got why people talked about it so much. It felt different. But then I tried replaying it and, I don’t know, it didn’t hit the same. The alternate routes are cool, yeah, and I like that the game changes depending on what you do. Still, some sections felt like they dragged once I already knew what was coming. Good game for sure. Just not one I find myself wanting to replay a lot.

"The visuals just didn’t click for me"
I know Undertale has a really specific look, and maybe I’m missing some of the context for why people connect with it so much, but the visuals just didn’t do it for me. The website and the game art felt plain and rough to my eyes, even if that was intentional.
There are definitely a few cute characters, and I can see how the style has charm for some people. For me, though, it came across a little too old-school and messy, so it never really pulled me in visually.

"Great characters, but the story gets avoidably weird"
I actually liked the story overall, but the characters were definitely the best part for me. Some of the plot choices felt a little weird in a way that seemed avoidable, but the cast kept me interested enough to stick with it.

"I bought it and the download..."
I bought it and the download itself worked without any problems, so no complaints there. I was a little annoyed by how unclear the communication was though, I had to figure out a few things on my own that should’ve been explained better.
